BREAKING NEWS – 1st 2YO winner of the 2019/20 season is an MVL grad! MILDRED (Hinchinbrook x Tempest Tost) won today’s Darley Spring Preview over 900m at Flemington. The filly was always with the leaders and came on strongly at the 200m mark to take the lead 100m from home. The youngster was purchased from this year’s Inglis Classic Sale by renowned horseman Neville Begg (and is trained by son Grahame). Stakeswinner Tempest Tost (career earnings $761,710) has now produced 4 winners.
